Yesterday I wanted to spend some time putting some fabric and my Diamonds pattern on the website and I thought it would be a fairly easy thing to accomplish. Boy was I wrong! It started out good, it took me an hour and a half to upload some pictures, get the descriptions and details lined up with the fabrics and then KAPOW!!!!!! I could do nothing! Okay, it doesn't help that I am a little computer challenged. But I just don't understand how things can work one minute and not the next. It turns out that after 2 hours of trying to figure out the problem (and yes I did power down and up again) the problem was solved. The browser (Firefox) no longer wanted to cooperate, so all I had to do was open the program up in another browser! Ugh! I wouldn't have been able to figure that out without the help of my 19 year old daughter. Good thing she is still on break!!!
So this morning I decide to open up the program in Firefox and what do you know, it worked! UGH! So before anything else happened, I listed my "Diamonds in Springtime" on the website and it is now available for purchase. Below is another quilt made using this pattern. I think I have had enough of the computer today and I will settle for a nice cup of tea to relax my nerves! Then it's back to the UFO train, sew much to do!

AuthorHi Everyone! My name is Melanie Barrett and I have been quilting for 15 short years now. I worked in a quilt shop for 7 of those years and I owned a quilt shop for the other 8. Recently I decided to close the brick and mortar store and concentrate on online sales. My favorite types of quilts to make are small and mini size. I don't have a favorite fabric style, I like them all. I find that my tastes change as I grow up! Splendid!Archives
