![]() This is what my drive to work looked like today. Isn't it awful!!!! With tomorrow being Groundhog Day I really hope that Groundhog does not see his shadow! I don't mind the cold (well maybe when it is below 20 degrees), but if the snow could just stay off of the roads, sidewalks and driveways it would be wonderful. And if we could at least see blue skies and the sun while it was snowing it would make it so much more bearable. But since we can't have snow with these particular conditions, I guess that leaves only one thing to do......stay inside and sew! What are you working on today? ![]() I not only having sewing projects on my UFO list, but I have numerous patterns that I need to finish writing so that I can make them available to the public. This fabric is new and beautiful, but I have the perfect pattern for it! I just love pinks and browns together! The quilt top is almost finished and once done I will show you the pictures! This will be the second quilt done with this pattern, but the first one sat so long in my UFO pile that I felt the need to update the fabric choices. Most of this fabric is from the Antoinette Collection by Benartex which I have available at the shop and will shortly be available at my online store! Well I must get to my pattern writing! For those of you living in this beautiful snowy weather, stay in and keep warm and attack some of those UFO's!

AuthorHi Everyone! My name is Melanie Barrett and I have been quilting for 15 short years now. I worked in a quilt shop for 7 of those years and I owned a quilt shop for the other 8. Recently I decided to close the brick and mortar store and concentrate on online sales. My favorite types of quilts to make are small and mini size. I don't have a favorite fabric style, I like them all. I find that my tastes change as I grow up! Splendid!Archives
