I am working on several projects at one time, two at the shop and one at home. These projects will be available as kits as soon as they are completed! The Apron Challenge is in full swing and I can’t wait to see the aprons that are made! I have seen lots of aprons in current issues of quilting and sewing magazines, they are hot, hot, HOT! Speaking of hot, it is great to have the warm weather returning! Enjoy the sunshine and don’t forget to set aside a little quilting time each day!

AuthorHi Everyone! My name is Melanie Barrett and I have been quilting for 15 short years now. I worked in a quilt shop for 7 of those years and I owned a quilt shop for the other 8. Recently I decided to close the brick and mortar store and concentrate on online sales. My favorite types of quilts to make are small and mini size. I don't have a favorite fabric style, I like them all. I find that my tastes change as I grow up! Splendid!
